Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Dream11 team news:
Royal Challengers Bangalore Preview:
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Strengths
Chris Gayle is back to form: The Gayle-storm played a fiery knock against Gujarat Lions and also reached the 10000-run mark in T20 cricket in RCB’s previous win. The track at Kolkata is a similar one and with Gayle back to his best, will be looking forward to scoring big against his former team. Might score a hundred – you never know!
Virat Kohli amongst runs: Skipper Kohli has smacked two half-centuries and has led the team well at the same time. Against Gambhir, the RCB skipper has had few controversial fights on the field. So, this contest is one of the most anticipated clashes of IPL season 2017.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Weakness
Unsettled bowling unit: RCB hasn’t got the bowling right. They have tried with Samuel Badree, Tymal Mills and Adam Milne but not persisted with one. Chahal has been the strike bowler but when it comes to the seam department, just like KKR they have struggled to get the combinations right.
RCB XI Playing:
Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Kedar Jadhav, Shane Watson, Mandeep Singh, Stuart Binny, Yuzvendra Chahal, Tymal Mills, Pawan Negi and Sreenath Aravind.
Kolkata Knight Riders Preview:
Kolkata Knight Riders: Strengths
Batting has clicked: KKR have tried with Sunil Narine as the opener and the ploy has worked for them. The couple of knocks played by Sunil has been amazing. In fact, against Gujarat Lions on Friday, Narine scored all his runs in boundaries. Stand and deliver! Such stuff it was. He scored 42 runs and all of them in the form of boundaries. Apart from Sunil’s brilliant hitting, Gambhir, Uthappa, Manish and Yusuf – all have scored at least a fifty each in the first 6 matches of IPL 2017.
Sunil Narine has been economical: Narine has shown his class yet again. Has been miserly with the ball and not allowed the batsmen to score against him. Narine hasn’t picked wickets like previous seasons but has kept the batsmen quiet.
Kolkata Knight Riders: Weakness
Failed to defend totals: Like most of the teams, even KKR have failed to defend totals in IPL 2017. While bowling first, they have restricted the opposition to achievable totals but while bowling second, the seamers have gone for plenty. Shakib Al Hasan who played the last game was expensive too.
KXIP XI Playing:
Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Shakib Al Hasan, Suryakumar Yadav, Chris Woakes, Umesh Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Narine and Nathan Coulter Nile.
